This was our sky today: grey and drizzly:
But looking up to the sky on the parking of our local hospital there was a lot going on. I saw dozens of crows nests and many couples of crows watching over their eggs. Marvellous. I have never seen so many nests before. These are only a part of all the nests. It was to wet to get out of my car!

Great shots, lovely gray skies, seems to be moody. The tree branches looks terrific.
Happy skywatching.
What terrific shots! And that is a lot of nests!! Wow! I don't think I've ever seen that many in such a few trees! Love it! Looks as though there will be a healthy flock of crows there for the spring! Hope you have some sun for the weekend, Cybele!

This is obviously a a great spot for th birds to grow up!
The monochromatic look suits the crows.
Good shots.

Amazing how many nests there are. Interesting sighting on a rainy day. We need some rain to wash away all the pollen.
Interesting silhouettes against the grey sky! Quite haunting!
Marvelous shots.
Mooie foto's, maar ik ben geen kraaienliefhebber. Ze roven hier de nesten leeg van mussen )o:
Fijne vrijdag!
Your skywatch may be cloudy but your header sure isn't love the colors
The sky here was also grey today.
interesting shots...gray here in NH, USA too and quite chilly.
we have so many gray skies this time of year. I think you've done the best possible - seeing the beauty that is there while looking forward to spring and other, astonishingly beautiful skies.
The nests are beautiful against the grey skies,it must be very tough for those birds in winter....the trees have no leaves and the nests are open to the elements.
Mooi om zien, wel veel kraaien bij elkaar :-)
