SkyWatch Friday

I spent a week in Houston, Texas, lately. After two hot and rainy days the sun came out and we saw a bright blue sky. I was impressed by this building which really tried to reach the sky. I took the photo from the 22d floor of our hotel. No idea what the exact height is and how many floors there are in it.

This picture was also taken from the same floor in the opposite direction. It clearly shows the pollution at the horizon. Funny you can't see the smog right above you.

The first building does look like it's trying to reach the sky. I like the second shot and if you hadn't mentioned that it was smog I would have thought it was a little foggy.

Ah, yes! That's Texas all right! I'm from there originally and I have cousins that live in Houston! Great captures, Jossie! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Enjoy!

The view up is certainly more attractive than the view to the horizon. That polution can sure spoil a photographer's day.

That is one tall building. And the sky behind... very nice. It looks warmer than it is here!

That building barely looks real! But the blue sky does.

If you took your pic from the 22th floor, I can't imagine how high that skyscraper must be!
