SkyWatch Friday

Our town has several flock of sheep to keep the grass in our parks short in a environmentally friendly manner. Last Monday the sheep were in our neigbourhood. A flock is about 150 - 200 sheep and one shepherd and two dogs to keep them together.
It is always fun to watch them.

The sky was as much fun to watch too.

Nice pastoral shots.

What marvelous shots! I love the sheep, there's just something so peaceful about the scene! A beautiful variety of skies as well. Love the grumpy gray ones in your last shot, but of course, after the winter rains, it's nice to see blue ones again! Have a great weekend, Cybele!

These are pretty; however, I spent a lot of time looking at your glacier shots. It is as if we are

inside

with you.

Wonder if the glacier is still there.....

Ecological lawn-mowers... I love it! Although I'm not sure they'd go over well in my neighborhood. :)

Happy Friday!

Gorgeous shots - especially the celestial light in the last one.

Mooi die schaapjes en de luchten foto's. Langs de A 16 hier vlakbij was ook zo'n kudde schapen een paar weken geleden. Ze hielden het gras op de dijk mooi kort. Ze zijn nou weer weg, ander gras is vast groener.
Fijn weekend.!

WOW!~I'm so glad to find your lovely blog. I only use a simple Canon powershot, so it's so nice to find someone who is natural with their photography. Isn't it amazing to see what mother nature and her lighting can do?!!?! I'm putting you on my page so I can keep up with you! :) XO

Lovely impressions for SWF. The grazing sheep bring back memories. When I lived in Switzerland, near my house was a big meadow where in winter the shepherd brought his sheep to graze on the meagre grass. His company were two dogs and a donkey. In summer he lived up in the Alps. I brought him sometimes a cup of coffee and a piece of cake and it was very much appreciated! Enjoyed all your pictures.
